How about act justly to protect the old, the children, and the vulnerable, like legal aliens who are victims of illegals?

How about obeying the law, and not hating those who do obey the law?

How about humbling yourself when your party loses, and not burning someone else's car or home because you get mad about an election?

"Beginning to Pray", Anthony Bloom. Published in 1970 and in continuous publication since then, this is the best book on prayer I have ever seen. Although it is not scripture by any means, it almost reads like an epistle on prayer. The man had a remarkable life as well. Whatever your denomination, it is well worth a read.
