Report Reveals That Biden's Department of Education Disproportionately Targeted and Penalized Christian Colleges

A conservative policy institute called the American Principles Project (APP) published a report revealing that the Biden-Harris administration weaponized the U.S. Department of Education against Christian colleges and career schools.
The department's Office of Enforcement, which Barack Obama created in 2016 on his way out the door, unfairly targeted and fined these institutions.
No one, not even leftists themselves, would be surprised that almost 70 percent of the office's enforcement actions involved Christian colleges and career schools. They represent only 10 percent of students across the country. From the report (PDF):
"While it is safe to say that President Trump, who has a great deal of respect for Christians, will not continue the Biden Administration's lawfare and targeted persecution of Christian institutions, Congress must enact reforms to the Department of Education to prevent it from arbitrarily targeting certain schools because they refuse to adopt left-wing woke orthodoxy and indoctrinate their students."
APP said that the outgoing administration penalized at least 12 Christian schools, including the most prominent: Grand Canyon University and Liberty University," which resulted in record-level fines worth more than all penalties imposed over the past seven years combined."
According to APP, "no Ivy League school has been the recipient of punitive action by the Office of Enforcement. The average fine against a Christian school for a Clery Act violation was $815,000, compared to $228,571 against public and private institutions."
People intuit such findings, but these studies measure them. APP released this study at the right time.
"During his first term, President Donald Trump deprioritized the Enforcement Office, and his next administration should eliminate it," said APP policy director Jon Schweppe. "APP looks forward to working with the Trump-Vance administration and Republican leaders to end the Democrats' years-long campaign to control and eliminate faith-based universities once and for all."
