Trump is a guy who gets it. America needs to stand up for itself. Canada is a disgusting, immoral run country.

Fix the border or get hit with tariffs. Then jokes about them becoming the 51st state.

This is worth the read. Really helps you understand how strong Trump is willing to be on behalf of our country.

In spite of the damage that's been done over the last 4 years, America still has a lot of power and leverage internationally speaking, but you have to have a POTUS that understands that and that has the strength and will to exercise it for the nation's benefit. Thank God we have an incoming POTUS that fits that description and thank God there are still enough reasonably intelligent voters in the country to elect him.

Of course we should all support Trump in stopping ALL Nations from ripping us off. However, I am mostly concerned with what he does with China. They attack economically on every front, including buying vast amounts of land. I hope he does something about that before its too late.

Fix Canada & Mexico in the meantime - shouldnt be hard at all.

Oh... and dont sell US Steel to Japan either thank you very much.

I don't think anyone would disagree that they're a strategic and necessary trading partner. But yes, someone or something needs to ensure that they are working with us to protect the border. Mexico, Canada and the US will work this out.

But if there is a tariff enacted, I suspect it will be short lived and both sides will be able to claim some success in negotiations and resolution.

How about the 4.5M barrels of oil we import from Canada every day? 1M from Mexico per day. OPEC countries is 1.5M . We have never been "energy independent " as Trump has said. Could we ? Yes, but it will obliterate the O@G business and millions of high paying jobs.
