I'm hopeful that trend is reversed by the Trump economy.
I'm also willing to think that national debt may EVENTUALLY trend better under Trump. Of course, I'm less convinced of that, but cautiously hopeful.
I have seen no indication in Trump's past that he will cut total spending, he will cut stuff that does not effect him, his cronies or his family.
I can't remember the last decent budget/debt Presidents we have had.
