On a serious note I don't see any middle eastern countries taking in Palestinians. This has been tried before and the other countries don't want them. Kuwait for instance kicked them all out.

But I've always assumed peace in the middle east may just lead to the end of the world. It'll be interesting to see how this develops.

I watched the News Conference live with Trump and Netanyahu, it sounds like a great idea in theory.
But, in theory the Middle East can live in peace and we know how that has gone over the millenia.
I don't thing it will work.

I tend to agree. Trump is obviously an outside the box type thinker and he's usually right (or at least mostly right) but I don't see this one. Developing and turning Gaza into "the Riviera of the Middle East" sounds like a great "win-win" idea to most westerners, but when you have an ongoing significant faction there that doesn't think like most westerners and aggressively opposes anything like that ever happening, it's hard at best to ever see anything like this ultimately succeeding - even with somebody like Trump directing it

Most countries in the World don't want foreign migrants will low education levels, no history of democratic governance, low skill level, and a propensity to radical Islamic violence.
You should not be asking why does most of the world not want these people.
You should be asking why the ruling class of the US, Canada, EU allows and encourages this sort of migration for the West only

Americans will die, and for what? Of course we all know for what, to have a significant presence in the Middle East, and continue to destabilize the region. We know we are safest when Middle Eastern eastern are busy killing themselves.
It is only a good thing if we commit to it, and provide a path to Palestinian statehood. Hamas doesn't want that, they want to be terrorists, but they are weak enough that the Palestinian majority could make the push. That is the only way some measure of peaceful co-existence is achieved.

I think Trump could pull it off and make it work. As soon as he's out of office and a weaker President is in power, it'll all fall apart.
I don't think Palestinians can ever govern themselves, honestly. Not without turning into another terrorist state. I wouldn't give them a sovereign state. If I was king I'd start the big Palestine diaspora and keep them from having their own place. There are good Palestinians there, just not enough of them.
