Flip side argument being that by the plain wording of the U.S. Constitution its probably legal

It's just a neighborhood.

White folks basically did this for 200 years.

Sharia law will not and should not be permitted.

And of course this is in opposition to the Civil Rights Act,
but if they don't want anybody but Musims there, I wouldn't
want to be there.

Actually it will....Sharia law is already permitted in the USA

Just like Jewish Halakha courts (Rabbincal Courts)

But it will be for civil matters and not be allowed to apply to non-muslims

We have lots of Sharia Courts operating in the USA and I would assume in Texas as well.

No one should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. without a demonstrated respect and commitment to Western civilization. It's not a race or religion thing, but I question what percentage of Muslim immigrants embrace freedom of religion, freedom of speech, rule of law, coexistence in a pluralistic country, individual property rights, and capitalism. If they plan to segregate themselves in communities and resist assimilation, they don't belong here.

I'm very familiar with it. In the 80s I worked with a ton of Indians. Still stay in touch with half a dozen of them, one is Muslim, the rest are Hindu except for one Christian.

I didnt think they had to build a muslim town in Dallas. Every time I go back there I already feel like i'm in a cross between Venezuela and Pakistan. Before I moved away in early 2017 I took my daughter to the park at White Rock lake and there were like 100 women in full Afghan burkas where you could only see their eyes at the playground with us. The men all stood around 50 yards away griling kabobs or whatever they like to eat.
