I'm more interested in how this person got set up for it and has not yet been found (at least as far as we know).

The guy that tried to take out Trump was obviously able to get set up despite a Secret Service detail.

I don't know if Charlie traveled with any security…. but this was probably not as difficult to set up for.

Wow, we are really here, not just politicians are targeted for assassination, but people who talk about politics. The rhetoric in this country is too much.

There was a reddit thread apparently, from weeks ago, where they talked about his speech, and how great it would be if he was shot. I bet the shooter read that. Calls for violence, even on a message board, are not ok.

this shooter could very well be a hunter of any age. not to compare myself to a shooter but i was raised to hit the animal in the head/neck to drop the animal and not injure it or damage the meat..

Kill zone on a deer is smaller than Charlie's head and neck. I've got a 17-year-old that is not missing that with a basic Remington model 70 and pretty garden variety optics.
