Respectfully, the immediate aftermath of what is almost certainly another example of leftist political violence is not the appropriate time to say "Donald Trump says bad things and makes people angry."

We can have that discussion, and there's plenty there to discuss. But this one is on the left. Purely. Any failure to acknowledge that or water it down is deflection.

On another note, while I do think those in the country illegally must be rounded up and deported, and those that avoid enforcement and make our law enforcement officers conduct raids and surprise arrests bear much of the responsibility for the tactics that are required to enforce the law, there is nothing happy or good at all about these poor people or anyone else being killed by this evil, incompetent fool. So accounts of the war were usually very slanted on behalf of the communists.

It is easy to see how we have arrived at this place. All we have to do is recall the history of the past several years. The left in this country has demonized law enforcement since the Obama Administration; defunded police forces for years, and local politicians restricted them through Mayor and City Council policies. Then the left supported open borders while giving illegals benefits usually reserved to maintain the safety net for our citizens. With a new administration, the left in many areas fought the removal of some of the worst criminals imaginable; and the constant demeaning of ICE as they simply do the job of enforcing immigration laws passed by congress.

Is it any wonder we now have tens if not hundreds of thousands of mental midgets on the left, who hear the above mantra constantly and whose lives have no meaning, willing to commit these types of murders of politicians, police officers, and ICE and Border Patrol Agents?

My gosh we allowed portions of many major cities to be burned, small businesses destroyed and the life savings and lives of many decent Americans just a few years ago.

We should all look back and realize we should have yelled louder and demanded for those breaking any laws to be prosecuted and jailed. The position should have always been enforce the rule of law, as to be clear to everyone. No burning businesses because you are angry about something, no wholesale looting of stores, and certainly no murder of folks you disagree with.

The judiciary has let us down to a large degree in the area of punishment or lack of it.

We must remove all of those who came in illegally. Come in the proper way or not at all. Harsh sentences for those breaking any laws and somehow get the politicians berating law enforcement to stop the practice immediately. I believe we must get tougher on the criminals by imposing as lengthy sentences as possible. That would be the starting point.
