I first saw a link last night on Facebook and today saw several "articles", links and videos that show things like a second shooter in the hotel, people saying there was a shooter or shooters on the ground, etc.

I'm not going to post the links because you can google and find them and I don't want to give those sites clicks.

I put articles in quotes because none are from an actual news organization. They are from places the typical conspiracy sites.

I just finding it amazing how quickly these things pop up. One of the videos shows a flash on a lower floor that looks more like an alarm flash (fire alarm?) than muzzle flash. I also don't get how that can be a shooter if that window was not broken?

Anyone else seen these yet? Thoughts? I'm sure katsung will be by soon with the real explanation and how he is risking his life to post it before the government takes him out.

Also, the police said he checked in on 9/28 but the hotel has receipts that show 27th. Also, he ordered room service on the 27th and it says for 2 guests...2 pepsi's ordered, etc. Who was the mystery 2nd person? Rumor it was a woman.

Also, hearing that so many casings were found, one would think a 64 yr old wouldn't be able to do all that running back and forth from windows and shoot so much ammo.

More and more people are thinking more than 1 person was involved.

Interesting the fbi can say that terrorists were not involved after 12 or so hrs while the fbi still cannot find out if trump and russia had any collusion.

Who says he ran? Some of the pauses seemed long. He could have been walking.

Order for two? Maybe he ordered two meals and kept one for later?

The shooters on the ground theory is crazy. Why would they be where they could get shot? How did they not get seen or shot by officers on the ground?

So many holes in the conspiracies they are laughable.

The holes in crazy conspiracies are smoothed - over with cover-up claims. That way some crazy conspiracies have legs.

My all-time favorite was the ATF Agents killed at the Branch Davidians complex were former Clinton bodyguards that needed silenced. I have an old friend that served in the Marine Reserves in New Orleans for a couple of years with one agent. I met the agent on a visit there. My friend was deployed with the agent to Saudi Arabia and marched up the Kuwait border with him. The time lines on this crazy conspiracy do not match-up with what I know. But it still bounces around the internet.

Lots of holes that allow for conspiracy theories. I haven't heard about any shooters on the ground. I read about a 4th floor window being broken as well so some were speculating about that. Also about how his body was arranged after he shot himself.

Too many leaks nowadays though to hide much.

My big question is why hasn't the FBI yet contacted his brother and his family?? His brother said in a fascinating 33-minute interview that they have not heard from the FBI. I just think that is beyond strange. It's things like that, a seemingly faulty FBI investigation, that cause people to come up with conspiracy theories, etc. Why is the FBI not questioning his family?

I've never shot AR15 but picture of it in his room had no scope. Pretty sure the AK47 didn't either but no positive? AR10 seen through motel door was on tripod and scoped so I could see it doing damage

What is the approximate rate of fire and length of fire of the first burst. Given that, was a magazine found in the room that would hold that many rounds?

I've got a feeling that, for whatever reason, the public will never know how many rounds were fired

FBI investigations take time and they don't update us on their progress.

Conspiracy theories work off all the bad data that gets swept up in the first few hours.

I'm not looking for a conspiracy. From a couple of videos I saw, the First burst was long, longer than any banana clip could support given the rate of fire (no I don't know the rate-just going by the sound). I would expect there to be either a drum magazine found or a belt fed weapon found.

I haven't watched but a handful of videos. Those only go 2-3 minutes once the shooting starts. My very limited experience firing AR style weapons just says the first burst would require a much larger source than I'm familiar with.

No conspiracy here. Just waiting for this question to be answered.

Heard another bizarre report on the radio on my drive home from work. They reported that apparently his 2015 tax return showed he made more than $5 million. Most of the income was from gambling! How rare and bizarre is that? Many people squander their life savings on gambling. If the report is true, it sounds like this guy may have been pretty good at it.
