This is a real thing. Blackview has released some ruggedized android cell phones with solid state batteries.
If and when these things come to EVs, it will be the end of ICE cars.
The maintainence requirements of an EV are just that much lower. No oil/filter changes. No coolant changes. No transmission fluid changes. No serpentine belt changes. No replacement alternators. The list goes on. That's not even including the gas you don't have to buy.

If it's real it will be a game changer, but not holding my breath.
