The Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping. Whodunnit?

Much evidence points to it being an inside job. The perpetrator(s) was very familiar with the cameras and the blind spots. The perpetrators spent about 50 minutes in her home. Why so long? You would think such a crime would be carried out quickly as possible.

I am thinking the poet daughter and teacher/ band member son-in-law.

Sure hope she gets released unharmed.
Call it a tax, the people are outraged! Call it a tariff, the people get out their checkbooks and wave their American flags!!!

crazy situation. Lots of media reporting on it during network news, day shows etc.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

I can't see heads or tails of this. Kidnapping an 84 year old woman?

Made me revisit the Lindbergh baby kidnapping. That kid was found dead. Starting to think that will happen here, too. She needs meds which I doubt the kidnappers keep on them.

The last video message from the family looks bad. They look and act like they know she is dead, and their message sounds like they just want her body back. They said they "understand" which might mean the kidnappers reported to them that they could not keep their mother alive, who was in poor health. They also said they just want to "celebrate" with her, which is how Christians usually talk about funerals. God I hope I'm wrong.

I am thinking that the kidnappers figured out pretty quick that if there was a transfer of funds in any form or fashion, they would be caught. No way they could allow Nancy to live and be a witness. I hope I am wrong.

I agree. This doesn't add up.

Strikes me as an inside job type, why her? At 84? Guthrie is famous, but not obscenely so. 6M? Seems low for the risk.

IMO, someone has intimate knowledge of this situation. Someone knows the relationship, knows the resources available and knew the property. Someone that took care of the property? Someone that has been there and talked to her? Seems odd, the whole set up.

That's the part that stinks. Someone would have to be keeping her alive for 10 days now, without her necessary meds.

I'm pretty sure only family would be doing that for her. Also, there were a good many droplets of blood on the front porch and that ain't good at all.

She has probably been gone for a week now.

I hope for a miracle.
