The petrodollar has been re-cemented in world markets. China has been trying for decades to cause the USA to lose 'world reserve currency' status. The way they were doing it was to begin trading oil in currencies other than the US Dollar. Epic Fury undid every single bit of progress China had made as all the other actors in the region have gone back to 100% support for the petrodollar.
Trump is absolutely destroying our primary enemy: China.

I have heard this case made. It makes no sense unless you are willing to ban trade with China first. Making a move directly at our primary geopolitical rival when the vast majority of our medications and the ingredients for them originate there is silly. The overwhelming majority of our consumer goods still come from there. Any move against Chinese hegemony must have as its foundation ending trade with that country.

Agree. Built something and support it. Every generation has added, moved the US forward and served the greater good of the US, the younger Generations seem to want to make money on their terms and cash out. That is a problem.
Somebody has to keep the lights on and the Nation moving forward. Not seeing the younger generations stepping up. Besides those in uniform right now, not sure we will have enough to fill what they are going to lose as the Boomers age out.
