I don't like that I like the Iran attack.

OK, it's not that I "like" it, but I think it is more like "reasonable enough". I believe Iran is a very bad actor, a death dealer. If you don't believe that, you are a fool. I also believe eventually our kids or grandkids would have had a nuclear armed Iran. It's just a matter of time and tech.

If a sane democrat was leader and had bombed Iran to prevent them arming themselves I would have been ok with it, though a bit skeptical since Dems generally like to weaken America in favor of the globalists.

But being that it's Trump and Marco, I am a bit more comfortable with the idea. Trump isn't perfect, but his gut feelings are usually on point. All I can do now is hope for the best, but I recognize that is likely wishful thinking. Truth be told, I would not be comfortable with boots on the ground though. I recognize that is a bit hypocritical, because either it's worth American lives or it's not. I can only hope that Trump and the people who made this call have good information.

I also recognize that it looks like we're being led by Israel, which clearly has an inexcusable level of influence in our government. BUT I do feel weakening Iran is in our long-term best interest. Israel is an ally, and is also bearing much of the risk here, being that it is in their neighborhood.

Here's Marco back in 2015, on this very topic - worth the watch:
https://www.facebook.com/reel/2613647542354296

Last, our country needs to wake up, traditional American values need to be our standard, and the vast majority of Muslims would absolutely vote in Sharia law if they had majority. Liberty and Sharia law are not compatible.

Should we ignore the the Pacific front? The fighting in the Pacific was maybe the most brutal of the war. We fought island to island and ship to ship.

nope. just pointing out the stupidity of the platitude. Bombing the hell out of your opponent is how you win wars = fire supremacy. The side who achieves it usually wins. Sometimes, they win without invading, like that time we bombed Japan into submission without landing a single trooper. We probably could have done it without nukes. Just would have taken a lot more time and a LOT more money.

He's really only bombed one (Venezuela) that hasn't been multiple times bombed before. And that was quite a limited bombing campaign in Venezuela, just tactical preparatory strikes in support of the raid to arrest Maduro.

Good news is, his bombing has been very, very effective at changing policy in rogue states! That's what war is, you know.....politics via other means. If you can't persuade them with diplomacy, you persuade them with destruction. There is no need for America to ever, ever, EVER face an existential threat from 2-bit dictatorships like Cuba, Venezuela, or Iran. Trump has shown how easy it is to make threats like that go away.

This is true.

You also can't bomb your way to regime change.

Now, the Iranians have installed a Supreme Leader as bad or worse than the one before.

So, this war will ultimately accomplish nothing other than making Iran angrier and more dangerous, increasing inflation, and ensuring that Dems take back the House and possibly the Senate in the midterms.

It will go down in history as a catastrophically costly and stupid war.

This is completely incorrect.

Trump has also bombed Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Nigeria, and Yemen.

Times bad behavior has been changed? Zero.

Venezuela hasn't changed. The same repressive regime is in power, just sans Maduro. The only thing we gained in Venezuela was control of their oil.

You have a serious reading comprehension problem. I said he's "only bombedl one (Venzeuela) that hasn't been bombed several times before ". That is true. It is also true that you have an exceedingly poor grasp of history and current events - objectionable behavior has indeed been changed by bombing attacks alone, in the case of some of the countries you mentioned, and others as well. Memba' that time Reagan dropped a bomb in Qadahfy's tent? He became unobjectionable toward us for quite some time. Same for Iraq.....whatever can be said about the post Saddam governments, they are infinitely preferable to Saddam's regime. Same for Syria. I mean, where the hell have you been the past few decades?

Nobody is ignoring it. You're just not connecting with the obvious. The Mainland surrendered. We could have used similar bombs the remaining strongholds. We chose not to. Perhaps a cost and supply issue, but it proves the point.
