Quite a trio at the top of the race.

The election will be held June 2nd. LA has had a Democratic mayor for the last 25 years.

- Karen Bass - current mayor and CA politician for the last 25 years. The current results speak for themselves.

-Nithya Raman - LA city council member labeled the next Mamdani. She is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America.

-Spencer Pratt- the wildcard. Former "Laguna Hills" reality star. His home in the Pacific Palisades burned down in 2025 triggering his run for mayor.

This is the ad that got the nation's attention.

This thing needs to be exposed for what it is. And Spencer is doing a great job of it.

Let's just see if people listen.

CA Democrats fall into one of four categories: champagne socialists, caviar commies, limousine liberals, and then the last group, the politically ignorant who do not do their homework or research what these people do to them with their regulations and policies. And it's they who are hurt most by it.

Driving north to the Central Coast to see some friends last week, I had to love the sign along the highway outside of Paso Robles that simply said, "Had enough, California? Vote Republican."

Politician wearing a hard hat at a factory he has no idea what it does.
Politician holding hands with spouse they pretend to like for 30 seconds
Politician in a school smiling at kids while their kids are at elite private school

And then black and white ad of opponent out to make them look like Ted Bundy.

The interesting thing is watching the debate, these politicians really did nothing to make a connection to the political jaw of Pratt. Are there any sound bites they can even reference as pull quotes?

All they can do is just hope that the Democrat voters in LA stay ignorant and vote for one of them because they have a D behind their name. Because anyone who watched that debate saw that they had nothing.

Same thing with the gubernatorial debates. The Dems spend more time going after each other than they do the Republicans. And when they do, it is immediately canceled out by the smarts of the Republican who can easily point out that it's the Dems who have controlled, and ruined this state.

So what do they do next? Pull out the DT card.

And even to that they get an eye roll from the Republicans who immediately come back and expose that tactic. That they've got nothing so all they can do is pull the Trump card.

The question will now be how many voters are listening. How many voters are making the connection between their plight and the Democrat policies that have put them there. Sadly I fear the ignorance will prevail once again, and it will be a pull on the lever for whoever has a D behind their name.
