California: does something stupid

Spencer Pratt: vote for me and I'll stop doing stupid stuff

Its that easy

It really should be.
But despite the excitement behind some of these more conservative candidates right now, I fear the ignorance and stupidity of enough CA voters will help the liberals to prevail.
I still can't understand how people who can afford their policies the least, and are trying to get ahead but can't, are so unable to make the connection between the challenges facing them and the Democrats who have been behind it.
You can't fix ignorant though.

I bet there are a lot of common sense people like you, that have been waiting for a long time

Thank you.
Unfortunately, I fear we're outnumbered now.

Only in LA.

Will take a miracle, but here's hoping for LA. And California.

I want to see LA. Back.

I want to see California. Back.

To take a place as blessed as California, and LA, and run them into the ground, it almost has to be done purposefully. It's time for more common sense leadership. Fight On, Spencer.

It is a place filled with demonic activity. I think the power and influence of the media industry over society has drawn in so much darkness trying to control that power, it's destroyed everything.

Funny, because I was thinking along the same lines.
California is darned near paradise.
Geography and climate alone make it pretty close to perfect.
Add the abundance of natural resources, it makes one almost think of Eden.
But just like Adam and Eve brought sin into the Garden of Eden, there are those who are bringing that sin into California.
I do think sin and evil invade every landscape, it just manifests itself in different ways in different places.
In spite of the paradisiacal nature of California, we do get our warnings in the form of earthquakes, fires and flooding. God is still in control and he's sending wake up calls. But again, those wake up calls are being given to all of us, no matter where we live. There are just some places that have been better able to ward it off better than others, and for a longer period of time.
And just like money doesn't always solve the insecurities or problems that many think it will, living in such a perfect place has made people take for granted what they have. And want more.

This is why you get Spencer Pratts...because politicians and their staff don't give a **** about you.

Quote:

Dana Williamson, Newsom's chief of staff in 2022 and 2024, appeared in court in Sacramento to plead guilty to counts of conspiracy to commit bank and wire fraud, subscribing to a false tax return, and making false statements.

She is accused of being the ringleader for a plan to siphon $225,000 from a dormant campaign account belonging to Xavier Becerra, who is a leading candidate for Governor, to pay for her own personal expenses.

I'm not sure I would be focusing on this either.
He has a strong case so far. No use in clouding it up with this kind of thing right now.

I can understand the kerfuffle over this story, but for me it really doesn't matter.

That trailer is on the location of his home. Or at least his former home.

If he's not living there full time in the Airstream, I don't care.

Quite honestly, I don't care if he lives at the Hotel Bel Air, the Beverly Hills Hotel or the Chateau Marmont on Sunset. It doesn't change the fact that Democrat leaders have ruined LA. And the current leaders are especially bad. Just as the current governor has proven far worse than previous governors.

I surely understood that the airstream trailer in the ad was more of a political stunt and that he didn't rally live in it.

But the burnt house behind that was very real.

The issue should not be about where he lives. It should be about the fact that his house burned down a year ago due to the current mayor's policies and leadership and he can't rebuild due to the current mayor's and state rules/regulations getting in the way.

I'm sure there was a period of time where he was living in a hotel, paid for by insurance, before he got the airstream (probably with insurance money) but again that isn't the issue.

Raman was absolutely horrendous in the debates. She has no platform so she is going on the attack.

I think that you are underrating what Trump's support does for someone

What in the actual F??? I am all for helping homeless with actual services like food banks, temporary housing, job training, interview coaching, basic medical care, getting the vast majority of them the mental help they need, etc.

But how does a massage help them in any way? How does it get them one step closer to getting out of homelessness?

Yes most decent people want to help out those who are down on their luck.

Politicians always see a chance to make money.

Im sure somebody knows somebody who knows somebody who is making a good profit on this "charity".

Most of money go to the "nonprofit" executives knocking down mid 6 figs. They are lib operatives. It ain't about serving the community. And the executives ain't doing any serving the community either.

Know someone who had been out of work. Then got a job at a nonprofit. I'm thinking they would make $40k a year. I'm not even sure if it was full time. Paid $80k per year.

If only normal nonprofits could pay like that!

By their nature, nonprofit service outfits should be living on donations. They deliver the help they claim, or lose their donors.

Now hospitals are a whole other type of "nonprofit". Don't get me started.

It is sad/ amazing how many non profits actually spend so little of each dollar donated to them. It has been a while but there was some news report on this (60 minutes, Abc or something like that) where they got records of a ton of them and found even some of the big well known names spent 70-80 cents of every dollar (or more) on administrative and operating costs.

One of the worst was a well known one- I think salvation army, red cross, or one of those- that spend 90 cents of every dollar on those costs.

And then there are the non profits that offer shelters or food assistance after major events like hurricanes and turn certain people away from the shelters or come by every 3 days with "food" consisting of a small water bottle and a cheese sandwich.

I think it was United Way before reforms.

I think for homeless help it's the small local nonprofits that are most effective.
