A Philly high school student is in trouble for posting two videos of classmates on social media. No he did not post explicit material. He simply posted them reading simple sentences..... or rather their lack of being able to read them. And the school's response..... threaten him with punishment.... not address the problem of lack of reading skills by seniors just days before graduation.

From the article:

" The videos landed in a city that has been staring at its own literacy numbers for years. Only about one-third of Philadelphia students in grades 3 through 8 scored proficient in reading on state assessments during the most recent testing cycle, according to Chalkbeat Philadelphia, and only 17 percent of the city's fourth graders met federal proficiency standards, placing Philadelphia near the bottom of major urban school districts nationwide."

Just part of the democrats' plan - if they can't read, they can't escape their plantation. All racist, all the time.

GWB should have said "Loud bigotry of low expectations" instead of soft.
Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

And funny how it's Dems who are the ones who also speak of lowering the voting age.
Sure, let's bring an easily impressionable and easy to manipulate age group of misguided idealists into the fray. A bunch of young males who think with only one thing at that age, along with their gossiping, emotion-driven, catty female counterparts.
They start with opening the borders to garner votes from illegal immigrants.
And then add a bunch of immature teens.
The perfect plan.

Yep. Everyone else has been around long enough to learn to stop voting for them.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Typical.

No one (especially our resident leftists) want to address the issue because it is one that highlights their hypocrisy and horrible policies. So they ignore the thread

Patience, friend. Maybe they just need someone to read the thread to them then type their outraged response in a post here.

Those terms likely have the same maturity of a typical Leftist adult!
