This Ohio teacher fired a surface-to-air truth missile at Bernie for his "oligarch" routine and you should read it

His ideas are so bad. And he is such a fake as he is worth millions but doesn't practice what he is selling.

According to this, he is worth approximatley $1.2 million at age 84, after forty years in a decently paying job. That doesn't really sound like a hypocrite to me.

He has multiple homes in high dollar markets. His worth has to be more than that figure.

Possible he doesn't own all the homes outright, but i agree it is probably higher. His wife made a good bit of money.

Yeah I don't buy that source at all.

Forbes gives his income over 10 years as $5 million and combined net worth with his wife at 2.5 million and this was from 2019!!!!!

https://www.forbes.com/sites/chasewithorn/2019/04/16/how-bernie-sanders-earned-nearly-5-million-in-past-10-years/

So yeah I stand by what I said. If he was truly not a hypocrite he would not own multiple houses and would not have more money than the average American. He would practice what he preaches. But he doesn't. Which is the exact definition of hypocrite.

Here is one Bernie has to say about it:

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/bernie-sanders-says-very-easy-161523858.html

First, "multiple homes in high-dollar markets" is wrong. He owns a row house in DC and two houses in Vermont, one a lake cabin. I doubt Burlington is a high-dollar market. Many, many New England's have small lake camps. I don't know what Bernie's is like but they can be as simple as off the grid summer only places.

He has owned these places for decades so their value is likely in excess of their cost. As far as liquid assets, you are going to build some if you work until you are 84, have a side-hustle (writing books), and are frugal.

Painting Bernie as a limousine liberal is just the outrage machine working overtime.

According to this, the recent lake home is not a little off grid cabin.

To his credit, he's not as extravagant as some other Congress members. But that's a pretty high bar.

The key in that article was the source of funds- wife's inheritance, IRA withdrawals, and book proceeds. He has mortgages on the other properties. The article itself says their situation is normal for a retirement aged couple.

The Kennedy's, Kerry, Pelosi-there are plenty of targets out there. Sanders just isn't one of them.

You are clearly missing my point.

1. He claims to be an an average American just like the people he "fights for." He has claimed that multiple times.

2. He wants to give so many things away "for free" as in taxpayer funded.

3. He has said he hates capitalism…. And yet invests in that system and sells a book for PROFIT. Capitalist actions.

4. He has called out people owning more than one home saying things like "no reason for people to own multiple homes when others own none."

5. He wants to take money from those richer and give to the poor.

6. He has talked about flat out seizing money from the top 1%.

So the fact he talks about things and against things and then he is doing those very things is why I call him a hypocrite.

Bernie spent $220k+ on private jets for his "Fighting Oligarchy" tour. Seriously. When asked he made no apologies. He essentially said he's too important to fly commercial and wait in line with us plebes.

Those pushing socialism the most do NOT plan to only get an equal share.

A millionaire socialist is peak hypocrisy. If he really believed in socialism he would be setting an example and giving away most of it. But socialists never practice what they preach. It's always for everyone else because the work they do is "too important" or some other lame excuse.

Some people see his b.s. for what it is, what all socialist propaganda is: lies by charlatans and thieves.

Margaret Thatcher was correct: The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

Because he's a grifter and hypocrite. Most Americans are more honest and not thieves.

He's one of the more egregious oligarchs. I wonder if he knows what the word means or how hypocritical he is for making money off of his socialism schtick.

Bernie is another illustration of how evil socialism is.

I have Zero problem with ole Bernie. He is honest. He tells you he is a Democratic Socialist and doesn't hide who he really is. I do not agree with one thing he does, but I respect his honesty. Need more honesty. Kinda hard to say that when the leader of your govt is the biggest dishonest, lying human on the planet.

He's an 84 year old US senator. You'd have to care very little about net worth to only have a few million in his position.
