Why is the left so hell bent on illegal immigration?

That's easy. The left/dumbocrats (one and the same) craves perpetual power for themselves no matter what it takes and no matter what damage may ensue as a result of their extremism. They see illegal aliens as a sure fire voting block (especially after they're granted amnesty which is also part of the plan) to perpetuate their power through buying their votes by dolling out "free" taxpayer paid benefits to them and prioritizing them over actual citizens. They couldn't care less about the consequences to American Society and to actual citizens, seeing all of that as just acceptable "collateral damage". They are extremely evil and diabolical power hungry menaces that continuously have to be destroyed politically.
In the early 2000s the Ds were so enamored by age and race demographic projections that they entirely ignored geographic projections. The last two rounds of the US Census were a very rude awakening for them.
2030 is looking like a cliff for them. End of the Blue Wall.
And the outright fraud in the 2020 Census (the RI sampling disaster) likely means that SCOTUS will be killing census sampling for the 2030 census. Combined with population shift projections that get worse month over month for Blue states, the outcome looks ugly for Ds.
Can't win playing by the rules, don't play by the rules. Importing as many warm bodies (citizens or not) and rely on SCOTUS to maintain counting heads and not citizens.
Even the Brennan Center (as lefty left as it gets) projections are sheer disaster for Ds.
Ds are Drowning Man Flailing. They will try anything to avoid obsolescence.

It must be all of the above because I cannot think of one valid reason as to why mass (warm bodies) illegal immigration is good. Let alone a major political ideology for a party (the democrat/left party)
