My dudes, I hate to say it, but Massie's voting just makes me think he's an open borders guy, he is doing whatever he can to help make ICE's job more difficult.

Illegal immigration is near the top in our problems, because it affects every other problem that we seem to care about. And he's on the side of the illegals when it's all said and done.

While I respect him for standing up for some things, any Repub not super tough on immigration needs to go.

He seems to do have some really good attributes as well, but man, open-borders is a litmus test. They absolutely suppress wages and hurt the citizens, and hurt the long term health of the American culture. It has to be sane immigration policies, where immigrants can come in where needed and assimilate to America, not being these "dual citizen" opportunists who constantly denigrate America, grabbing the money, and talking about how great their poor crap hole country is.

Glad I'm not in Kentucky. Hard to know who to vote for these days.

And John Cornyn - hard to pin down, but I believe he's open to amnesty. He's just playing the game right now, and I don't trust him. Come out hard on the topic, no amnesty, no illegal immigration allowed, no increase in immigration.

And no increases in permanent immigration or work visas until we see what our own population can do. This needs to be top priority as AI is going to affect every single young American's job opportunities.

We can rework the work visa program for migrant labor if our own country won't meet the need, but must be done correctly and limited.

You couldn't be more wrong. Massie has an A on his liberty score report card, and a 96% voting record.

Meanwhile...

We have enough congressmen in DC voting for special interests.

Vote Massie.

Cornyn on the other hand has always been a swamp rat.

We need more Massies that are willing to fight back. We have too many that are willing to go along on MAGA and Progressive side. We need mor Massies not less

I hear you, we need more like Massie, but Massie is just not very convincing on the #1 issue. I think he'll sell us out, no different than all the other globalists.

Had a lot of respect for Massie when he stood up (basically alone) against the atrocious covid spending bill.

Lost most of it when I saw him grandstanding and pimping himself out nationwide with his buddy Ro Khanna over the Epstein mass delusion.

One minute, he's standing alone on principle against the lemmings. The next minute, he's leading the lemming sprint.

Politician gonna politic, I guess.

Depends. If you believe Epstein files are being buried, then it is a positive. If you believe we need to work across the aisle again, it is a positive.

This is feeling like a very consequential primary race. Trump and AIPAC are pushing all their chips to the middle of the table.

If Massie wins this I think it will be significant.

It's no wonder Massie is hated. Conservatism is kryptonite to RINOs and MAGAs alike.

Whether one agrees with a few of his votes or not it should not warrant an excommunication edict in a democratic republic, at least not in "America Before Trump." But this is not that America.

I think he's too smart to actually believe what he's saying.

To be fair that might be true…but the ole "we challenge the system conservatives" didn't actually do anything or change the system in anyway.

And Trump bringing the old GOP establishment to heel and actual vote for some good policies (or at least let then take place) has done a lot of good.

Nah, just illegals and significant immigration reform are towards the top of the issues breaking our county.

He's not solid on the that issue.

That's a false claim that Miller has been spamming on X. He voted against an omnibus bill that had many anti-Republican agendas bundled into it.

In fact, if Massie loses today he should wage a write in campaign to derail Gallerin in the general election. Let the seat go D for a term.

You know, like that wretched rinocrat senator from Alaska, Lisa Murkowski did.

If by "not solid" you mean he's not a raging xenophobe who would sacrifice our civil liberties in a fanatical quest for racial purity, you're probably right. But he is restrictive on immigration by any reasonable standard.

She won as write in, that is impressive. Maybe she is doing a good job representing Alaska's interest. Those interests may not align down the MAGA line. She is doing her job, representing Alaska not being a rubber stamp for Trump.

You guys seem to forget these people are elected to represent their areas, not just vote as Trump wants them.

How could any "real Republican" be against war in Iran or covering up child rape?
