I think you need about 20 different NGOs who all get part of the settlement and who all contribute heavily to one political party. Each has about 5 or fewer employees. A few NGOs have no employees. One NGO should be in charge of the restoration of Epstein Island. In a few years people will wonder where all the money went and nothing will have changed for society.

Not sure why I got nominated.

I would not do well in that position as I don't believe in reparations. If they had been given at the end of Civil Wat that would have been ok, especially if it was the slave owners being forced to sell land to pay for it. But now when no one alive was a slave or slave owner (or even child/grandchild) it makes zero sense.

Especially when you think about the logistics of it all, how there would be lots of blacks that would not be eligible as they are not descendants of slaves. Say someone like Obama, lots of foreign born athletes, etc. And there are tons of white people, Asians, Hispanics, etc. that never owned slaves so they should have zero obligation to pay anything.

After the money is all paid do we get slaves again?

Slavery was not illegal until 1865.

Most torts, including false imprisonment carry a 2 to 6 year statute of limitations.
