Why are progressives miserable people?

1) They tend to be Godless people and therefore have no hope for anything better than what this highly imperfect world throws at them.

2) Worshipping government is their substitute "religion" and regardless of whether their side is in power or not, government will always ultimately disappoint you to one extent or another.

3) They believe in utter lies and falsely premised notions that aren't true to begin with and that will furthermore never come true (example: socialist utopias where all outcomes are equal and everybody blissfully has everything they need).

I could go on, but I believe those are three of the top reasons so called "progressives" are constantly miserable.

Others have covered it but I would do that on top of the lack of religion they have no money so they think life is "unfair" and no hope of ever making money so they realize life will stay "unfair" until they are given handouts to make it "fair."

On its face, that seems a fair question, but it misses a lot of the substance.

Progressives will certainly complain when a conservative is in office.

But the thread is built on something more than political contentment.

Conservatives do not generally pay much mind to how progressives live in their personal lives. We only say something when we or our loved ones are affected by someone's behavior. Progressives, however, often form mobs to try forcing everyone to live by their rules, and assert their own desires as 'rights' to the point of denying people their actual rights.

Conservatives who see a progressive wearing provocative clothing do not generally respond if they are not forced to. Progressives form mobs which block traffic in order to compel everyone to react to their outrage, and boy howdy progressives get angry about all sorts of things.

Conservatives want the law applied evenly to all, regardless of race, sex, culture or political alignment. Progressives get angry according to the race, sex, culture or political alignment of whoever they decide to attack today.

I think it is a combination:
1. Lack of religion
2. Feminism
3. Lack of intellectual capacity that causes to fall for conspiracy theories

If you and your fellow lefty dumocrats had won in '24, the war on fossil fuels would've continued and possibly even intensified which would've meant oil would prolly be even higher than what it is now - despite the fact that your gal at best wouldn't be doing anything to stop nuclear proliferation in Iran and at worst would be helping the Mullahs fund it like your hero Obummer. Additionally there would be no hope of oil prices eventually coming down in the short term like there most definitely is now.
