The Whitney version is very special to a lot of us, as it's from Super Bowl XXV (Jan 1991). When for the first time since Vietnam, we had fully deployed to and invaded a country - Desert Shield/Desert Storm. That's why you so much emotion by the crowd in attendance. This was about 4:15 AM early Monday 28 Jan 1991 Saudi/Kuwait time - early Sunday evening/afternoon back in The States.

Same here, and that was one of the few games we won in the Stolen years. 16-13 in OT over New Mexico with a big 4th down stop as UNM went for the win.

I mentioned earlier in the thread the significance of Whitney's version as it was in the midst of Desert Storm.
