New Video Shows McConnell Wheeled Out On Stretcher After June Cardiac Emergency At D.C. Home

"The video adds new weight to emergency dispatch audio previously obtained by an independent journalist and reported by CNN. In that recording, responders were dispatched to McConnell's known address for an "unconscious" person experiencing a "cardiac arrest," with a paramedic heard saying "CPR in progress.""

If this is correct, there is a very high chance (90%+) that McConnell is either (1) dead or (2) brain dead on a vent.

While the success rate for CPR in a witnessed cardiac arrest with a shock delivered by an AED is quite high, the success rate for CPR in cases of unwitnessed cardiac arrest with chest compressions and multiple rounds of medication is abysmally low, with survival to hospital discharge in the single digits.

This would also explain why his wife felt free to travel to China, as she knows he's gone and there will be no recovery...just hiding the truth from the American people till the midterms.

Sen. Mitch McConnell broke his public silence on his health July 12, saying a fall and a subsequent bout of pneumonia have kept him away from the Senate for about a month.
In a statement to his constituents, the Kentucky Republican said he was "briefly unconscious" after the fall and was admitted to a hospital, where he underwent extensive testing and treatment. McConnell, 84, said he has since moved from the hospital to a rehabilitation center and is continuing physical therapy to "keep regaining my strength."

I vaguely remember he had a fall last year (or earlier?). This seems to match that. It might not have anything to do with the current situation. His office is fueling the conspiracy theories and they are not far fetched, especially after 4 years of Pres Autopen.

I'm getting the suspicion that Mitch is dead. Even if he is not, he super old, in poor health and can't fulfill his duties as a senator. It's way past time to resign and let the process play out to replace him. This stinks of another autopen scandal.

I can understand why people would conclude he's dead. I'm unwilling to go that far now. I would feel much stronger about it if I were in Kentucky.

Mitch McConnell is a dinosaur who never should have remained in Congress so long. I think that of all members of Congress, especially the geriatrics, should be out after a short period of time. He's an advertisement for term limits and repealing the 17th amendment. Unfortunately, it is unlikely we will ever see either one.

If Trump were mentally unstable like Biden was, yes. But I have never seen any sign of that.
