Am not a huge Mark Carney fan, but what the Hell is Trump thinking? The smoke from the Canadian wildfires is blanketing some of our Midwest states and Trump is threatening Canada with more tariffs unless Canada does something to stop it. Seriously???

If Carney knows how to control and stop wildfires, perhaps Trump should hire him to control and stop fires in our Western states.

A true leader would offer to assist our neighboring countries any way they can to put the fires out. Unfortunately, we don't have one.
Call it a tax, the people are outraged! Call it a tariff, the people get out their checkbooks and wave their American flags!!!

Carney has his Carbon Credits and Trump has his tariffs. Peas in a pod. Both always trying to get in peoples' pockets. I am just glad Trump decided getting into the pirate business was not a good idea.

On a somber note, two U.S. servicemen killed in action today. One still missing.

And to your previous post, California does suffer from wildfires, and increasing temps will likely make those worse. I lost an old and very good friend several years ago who worked for Cal Fire.

Life is precious. Thank you for the reminder.

It's not that scary. Plenty of equally ignorant Canadians in Canada, and others in every country. Pretty normal.

Trump is an agent of chaos. I guess when the fires subside (they will) he gets to take credit for putting pressure on Canada to solve the problem.
