She was not a failure because she was woke. She was a misfit with Cracker Barrel. She didn't understand their base customer and their culture.

Not necessarily woke, but trying to make a restaurant that made its mark with an ambiance of "old fashioned on purpose" into a modern like everyone else place deserves some questions as to "why?' Not sure those questions were adequately answered about all changes.
This is a little bit of a stretch. Sonny is right ... she made some bad decisions but not sure this is in the same ballpark as "woke."

No idea about danieljackson, but Cracker Barrel will need to upgrade its uniqueness again to instill any desire for me to intentionally go there, beyond it being the only option at the interstate exit I take. Companies need to stop trying to all get "stars upon thars" and drive some of their uniqueness.

Taking the old fashioned farmer and the country store branding out of cracker barrel isn't woke in the way of the Bud Light lady man, but it has some similar dumbassery attached to it.
