I suspect it depends on what you're packing.
Self determination is a standard of freedom. The 19th amendment (and voting rights act) extended freedom, not reduced it.
I would like to engage, but on a fundamental level, am on a forum precisely because discussing politics in text is on every level superior to TikTok and reels and limited character tweets, so if you could post his argument or assertion I am sure more of us would answer your question.

It's a video where a guy ( I don't know his name. He's referred to as a Christian Nationalist) argues that half his vote was stolen from him with the passage of the 19th amendment.
He's goes on to say, his good Christian wife votes as he directs in order to give him back his full vote.
I'd never ask my wife to vote as I say. I also don't see women having the right to vote as diluting my vote.
Don't tell this clown about the 15th Amendment.

I agree with you, but isn't this exactly what happens all the time on this forum with LW fringers? Sing it to the heavens while proclaiming that whatever silliness was spouted is, in fact, the belief of everybody left of Ted Cruz?

It is easy to spot the fringe posts. And, yes, anecdotal items are posted here all the time. Some are labeled as such and many are not.
Unfortunately, a lot of what is considered news is not so much different these days. We are in the age of gawking at fringe, and the fringe has grown to pavlovian proportions.
