The fascists are counting on it terrorizing real journalists (the MSM are nothing but fascist propagandists) like Nick Shirley. Unfortunately, it likely will hinder those efforts. An enterprising independent journalist following in Nick's footsteps will think twice before making the effort if it will lead to arrest and prosecution. It's designed to intimidate and it will. One would have to be bold, brave, and confident to defy an organized effort, especially knowing that the full power of the tyrannical state will be arrayed against you. This leads to a greater appreciation of those brave souls who have fought against such tyranny in the past like the civil rights activists, the abolitionist, those on the front lines in the fight against abortion, and opponents of foreign dictatorships (may of whom paid with their lives).
