Do you have a link showing 8 men killed their families during that period? That link describes a horrific scenario in which some loser killed 8 people - grandma down to grandkids. (Btw, you think he'll walk with an insanity plea? I bet he doesn't.)

Certainly no less awful (more awful in some ways), but it strikes me as different than a scenario where a mother specifically targets and executes only her children.

Men are in general way more violent. It's not even close. But in family violence women narrow the gap, and in fratricide they might actually win the blue ribbon.

Having the fairer sex, who commits so much less violence in general, and who is supposed to be the primary caretaker for infants, kill those infants - that just hits people different.
