You are unintentionally making good point. The trans furry weirdo was using his grandfather's bolt action deer rifle. We actually gonna ban those?

Fortunately, murder is illegal, so the trans furry weirdo will be duly punished

Anyone who thinks we should end the second amendment simply because bad guys exist is a moron.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Yep. Makes about as much sense as banning motor vehicles because some people are killed in fatal crashes every year.

So true. And everything else that people die from, including walking around, or lying on a couch and eating Doritos...

Sort of funny that so many think this is a big gotcha. It is just our reality.

Yes, and I do not think we should ban bolt action .30-06 deer rifles because a trans furry got one and shot Charlie Kirk.

Do you think we should ban deer rifles? Or do you also agree with Charlie?

Cars?

We require licensing, financial responsibility (insurance), we regulate with speed limits, and require them to operate safely (air bags, crumple zones) and emission standards.

Problem is driving is merely a privilege while self defense is an inalienable right the government is prohibited from infringing. Also, for all those regulations we still have more car deaths than gun deaths.

Let me try to explain it to you, but I cannot understand it for you.

Laws are effective only to the extent citizens follow-them. You claim traffic laws as why car violence is different than gun violence yet people speed, drink and drive, run red lights, etc. Just like a person can walk pass a "no guns" sign.

AR-15s are no different than handguns. They just look scarier. I would argue a Glock 19 is more effective anyway - easier to conceal, aim, etc.

Look at facts not emotion: if gun laws worked Chicago would have relatively low gun homicide rates as would California's largest cities.

Based on your logic, we shouldn't have laws. We have no moral imperative to a safer society. We shouldn't have regulations. Kill all environmental laws. All drunk driving laws. All safety standards.

As I keep learning, we should do nothing to improve gun safety but everything to make Sharia Law illegal. (Even though there's no where that has Sharia Law in the USA.)

Incorrect. We should have laws. Because we live in a fallen world, there will be people that ignore those laws.

It's no hard. Murder is illegal. That fact has not prevented murder. Just lack gun laws never prevent gun violence. It's actually really simple. Again, let's talk facts not feelings: if gun laws worked Chicago and California would have lower rates of gun violence than other cities. Gun laws have never been shown to reduce gun violence. It's just political heroin for the left. There are much smarter ways to solve gun violence, but like most problems the left tends to not want to do the smart thing.
