You are probably right…but decades of "oppressor/oppressed" narratives from on high (mainly from academia) and a government-educational-corporate system that rewards groups and ethnicities based on identitiarian grounds..along with mass migration was always going to lead to serious problems for the USA.

Not sure how modern America can walk any of this back or put the balkans boogeyman back in the bottle.
