Actually, this may be the best thing that ever happened to him. He can write a book. Do the talk tour. He can decide who he wants to interview with. He will definitely be in high demand if he chooses to do so.

Yeah but I took my wife's last name. Causing me serious issues.
I never wanted to be on jury duty for a high profile cases, murder, sexual assault, child related cases, etc. before this but now I really don't.
I have been on a DUI case before and would do that again or other smaller cases/crimes.
