Zelensky doesn't want a peace deal with loss of land put in writing. Putin doesn't want a peace deal without gain of land in writing.
Trump wanted a peace deal and thought Zelensky would accept that the Russians won't leave Ukrainian land. Trump doesn't think Ukraine can drive the Russians out without an influx of troops. NATO isn't going to commit any ground troops and escalate the tensions between them and Russia any higher. Trump sees a stalemate, so he's trying to undo it to get Zelenskyy unwillingly to the peace table.
I don't like it - never have liked "peace at ANY cost" ideas. But that seems to be what's happening.

As predicted. The war never about Ukraine.

The envoy is Kirill Dmitriev, head of Russia's RDIF and Putin's special envoy for investment/economic cooperation.

On Oct 16 at Russian Energy Week in Moscow, he said that after the recent Trump-Putin diesel supply deal, Russia and the US are discussing joint data-center projects that could draw power from Russian nuclear plants, including small-scale reactors. A project list involving Russian firms exists, but talks are preliminary, nothing is signed, and sanctions create major payment hurdles. He expects more announcements soon. No US confirmation has been reported.

You guys are good with this? Joint Data Centers with Russia powered by Russian Nuclear Plants?

Yeah, Reagan would love this, huh? So glad we are not going Neo-Con being globalist. The only place we are going global is where Trump does or will have business dealings. 10 to 1 Kushner is sent to Russia within the next 2 weeks.

Can't vote for Halley, she is a globalist Neo-Con that loves wars and will export America. Dodged a bullet there, huh.

Too busy beating up on Talarico's hair cut. Real productive stuff. Meanwhile their boy is selling the US down the river and being Israel's henchman.

But there is a path to victory for Ukraine. Russians get tired of a **** economy and sons coming home in body bags.

Warmongers always want war on your territory. It hits differently when it comes to your home. Ukraine is delivering damages to the Russian at their homes.

I didn't say there wasn't one. Apparently Trump admin doesn't think there is, at least not a relatively quick one.
I really don't think there is much more to the admin's actions than this.

Nobody is investigating this ***** He is blatantly giving Russia what he wants. New Hotel in Moscow approved or something?

I mean I know Putin is bad, but Ukraine has been one of the most corrupt places on the planet. And the European West is not looking much freer than Russians. Practically self-destructing. Can they both lose?

A massive Ukrainian drone offensive struck multiple locations across Russia overnight into Sunday, sparking fires at oil facilities in St. Petersburg and killing at least one person, Russian officials said.

St. Petersburg Governor Alexander Beglov said the attack ignited fires at the city's oil terminal and an oil depot in Ruchi. One person was killed and five others were injured, according to local authorities.

The strikes also targeted a logistics center operated by Russian online retailer Ozon and a data center belonging to technology company VK. Both companies confirmed their facilities had been affected.

Russia's Defense Ministry said its air defenses intercepted or destroyed 1,015 Ukrainian drones across 15 Russian regions, as well as over the annexed Crimean Peninsula and the Black Sea area. The claim could not be independently verified.

It's why you don't start none. All you control is the start. You can't control when I finish.

Well, lets look at the facts.

We invaded Venezuela and took their oil industry.

We are blowing up boats in the Caribean.

We threatened Denmark to take Greenland.

We tariffed the world.

Attacked Iran, twice

We are executing people on an Army range and streaming it

We are streamlining citizenship for those that can pay.

Why wouldn't he see Putin's side? They are both Authoritarians.

Some of these things are incredibly based though
