Trump tells his rally that oil companies are doing great and their profits are at an all-time high. Meanwhile, the very people cheering him on are getting hammered by high gas prices and aren't benefiting one bit from those record profits. And somehow, they remain blind to the contradiction. They cheer while corporations prosper at their expense, apparently unable to recognize that the policies they support are hurting their own pocketbooks.
Name one, just one policy put forth by a democrat in the last 25 years that was designed to reduce gasoline prices.
Green Energy. (Renewable) Electric vehicles. Both would reduce our dependence on carbon fuels and drive down gas prices.
The most disturbing thing is that after 9/11, as a nation, we should have been ALL IN on reducing Middle East oil imports and consumption.

You can't be that stupid. But maybe you can.
What powers electrical generation?
Tell us how Europe's fixation with Green policies has reduced their fuel costs.
Tell us why China's use of hydrocarbons is rising year over year.
Green policies are simply a way for stupid people to feel morally superior.
FYI……the growth of global energy consumption insures that every potential energy source will be utilized to its maximum potential. Math is brutal on the fantasies of the Left.
You asked for policies that they put forward. Not quality assessments of how they would do. The Dems believe it would work and they put it forward. You don't have to agree. Trump is doing aspects of the Green New Deal why do you think Musk is so involved...
You want to get into stupid policies? Maybe - Tariffing the world, going to War with Iran... There are no shortage of stupid ideas with this administration, as well.
As always your reading comprehension is poor. I asked nothing. I did opine on the stupidity of his answer to someone else's question.
And stop being obtuse. No one asks about policies simply to take a survey upon whether any were offered. That question (at least to any normal person) is an inquiry into workable policy.
And deflecting onto other topics is the hallmark of not having a substantive response.
Demand for electricity is double the growth in demand for total energy and exceeds growth in GDP by about 1/3.
Renewables are already the largest energy supplier by a large margin. Any person with a minimum of education understands that energy faces a demand bubble not a supply source issue. And China is the epicenter of that bubble despite sourcing energy (at a much higher percentage) from renewables than Europe or North America.
Your need to infuse your hatred of Trump into every conversation even at the expense of making blatantly false and stupid comments as the jumping off point makes folks question your sanity. Try some bran.
You are so full of *****.. The question was not about the workability of the Green New Deal. It was a out putting forward policies to lower gas prices. So, yes in an election year people do survey if they put out policies.
What a f-ing joke, you were discussing the inner workings of the Green New Deal! You got caught being wrong and went personal. Again...
Right Fecal Boy. Your claim of victory is hollow nothingness.
Oil usage is effectively stable (with a slight drop recently) and has been since bouncing back from the pandemic.
On the other hand electrical usage is rising at least 4% annually and your answer to gasoline pricing is to increase electrical usage (a locally priced energy source). And to do it in a way that basically has zero impact on oil prices since they are a global commodity. A million new electrical cars in the USA has minimal impact on global oil consumption.
Oil prices depend on two items…,,and only two items absent a global shutdown…….production levels and deliverability. Not usage. In the vast majority of situations, usage is a given.
Do solutions exist to minimize oil price spikes caused by production drops or deliverability freezes? Yes. The world could increase oil storage by 25,000%. That endeavor might deliver the ability to soften peaks for six months. It would also bankrupt most governments.
Building electrical cars is a faux panacea. Real Fixes…..drilling, pipelines, refining capability. And ending the ability of one rogue regime to shut down deliverability for a large chunk of global production.
But reality doesn't align with your agenda so you bluster.
adults in the room (since March 2026):
global oil production has dropped by 8.2 million barrels per day
global oil consumption has dropped by 2.6 million barrels per day
fight price increase by increasing global production
increase production by drilling and opening waterways
