Yes our children will eventually see things that we don't want them to.... whether it be our daughters seeing male genitals, or drug use, or death, or a whole long list of things.

But as parents (from either side of the political spectrum) our goal should be to protect them as long as possible from the evils of the world. To dismiss it as "well it is going to happen anyways" is just stupid.

Can a murderer use that excuse in a trial? Well he was going to die eventually anyways.... I just made it happen now instead of natural causes.
