Pretty nice 30 minutes up almost 170pts. Also negotiating the auto tariffs which is what is delaying the press conf.

$100 MSNBC or CNN's first question after Trump announces EU trade deal (assuming it's happened) will be about Cohen tapes and not the good news on trade.

Starting now...

Trump seems pretty upbeat w/ a bunch of senators on hand. Hopefully good news but EU still needs to sign off on it.

LOL, I think it was Acosta who was shouting a Cohen question. So predictable.

Based on history, I'm guessing cinque will have a link to CNN with a story that Trump is sending supplies to terrorists because natural gas will go to so many countries with recent muslim immigrants.

If it wasn't for fake news inspiring the gullible to attack Trump then Trump's approval would be through the roof

It's a shame there's such otherwise fairly intelligent but gullible people here sucking CNN and MSNBC tits

So the concession is that the EU will import soybeans and lng - how much? And what are we giving up?

I like the announcement, but will keep the champaign on ice until the details are clear.

You are looking at this wrong.

A few more soybean and natural gas sales is way better than the world-wide apocalypse and famine that has been predicted by MSM for a few weeks.

Yes it would be. But that is not the question. Trump will sell this as "see how I negotiated us to a better position.
"
What I am wondering, however, is whether Trump is just putting lipstick on the pig. Tell me how we will be better off than before we imposed the sanctions.

Worth noting that POTUS has crafted one other significant international agreement: the de-nuclearization of North Korea. That does not mean North Korea is denuclearized. Likewise, this announcement does not mean we have won on trade.

You haters are hopeless. If Trump discovered and announced a cure for cancer, you'd be pissed at him for not curing heart disease and would then label him as a "heart patient bigot". Hopeless.

In other words: you have no idea how much soybeans, how much lng the EU will buy and what we agreed to do in response. You have no idea whether we are in a better trade position today than we were before POTUS started negotiating.

If Trump announces an agreement you are all for it without without even knowing what is int he agreement.

I am all for more trade, particularly with the EU and our partners in this hemisphere. I assume today's announcement is positive. Great. Call me with the details and we will see how big a victory this was.

Doesn't matter if it's 2% or 5-40% more in trade, it's better than we had before. Both the EU rep & Trump spoke about their goal was zero tariffs especially on industrial products. The EU rep seemed positive but of course there is a lot of work to do to narrow down the details.

It does matter because without knowing the amounts, you have no idea if it is "better than we had before."

Everybody wants 0% tariffs; its a wonderful goal. Call me when it happens.

I am not trivializing this; its a better path than we have been on. I am just leery of Trump's gamesmanship. The substance of his game is often not what it seems.

MSM 1st question after this announcement

"Mr(not President) Trump, doesn't this prove you and Putin conspired? I know this deal takes Russian oil money and gives it to USA but aren't you and Putin still close?"
