wait. all over the main board the Briles defenders said it wasn't his fault the school didn't have Title IX implemented, it was the BOR's fault for not making sure Starr was on top of it. Now this group says the BOR has been too involved?Colt B. said:

There's definitely the crowd of the #CAB movement there, fortunately I think this group has a pretty strong message and they are sticking to it, not being swayed by the various groups that are frustrated.

I heard - "We need to stand up as a family." But, stand up for what?
I heard - "We need more openness from the Board." Ok, but how.
To me, this seemed more like a pep rally and unless I missed it, there were no recommendations presented.

I'm not sure I understand the point of it all. Are there specific recommendations that this group is going to release? Do they want the board of regents to have a sit down Q&A with Baylor alumni?

It seemed like a lot of grandstanding to me. I'm paraphrasing here but Williams said something along the lines of "we don't know the facts, so we can't make recommendations on what to change. We need the facts in order to address how to fix the problem."
So i guess today was a public message of influential donors to call for transparency and the BOR to talk to the alumni.

Why can't they all get drunk at a Bar and ***** to each other. Why do they need to do this on camera?

I walked away from the meeting with a good feeling. It was refreshing to hear intelligent well spoken men and women discuss our school. I am not sure how this ends or where we are headed but I've known JEWilliams for a long time and can guarantee that he is someone that you don't want to piss off.
Say what you will but Paula and Sharon have both put out fair, relatively positive articles on this. This is the best PR Baylor has had lately. Unless you're a regent.

and many of those people have been regents and serve in other capacities at Baylor. they aren't some outsiders trying to shine a light into darkness.
