Mexico is simply keeping them safe from attack and rape and hunger and fatigue (especially children) by bussing them. Maybe we should transfer those that want to go to Canada on busses and drive them north?

Many on the left have publicly rebuked Trump and Republicans for "scaring" people by saying "they are coming." They are coming and indeed are here. Mexico offered many of them asylum and they have chosen not to take it. I think if you'll research fully, you'll see that many, if not most, are not seeking asylum. The 'asylum' angle is merely a propaganda tool to get into the country without going through normal channels.
And Mexico wants this bunch OUT of their country and into ours ASAP .
Because if these folks in the caravan are successful.....millions of Mexicans will utilize the same ploy.
Guess who is paying for the processing and care of these people into the USA? It will not help reduce the federal deficit at all.

THEY ARE NOT LEGAL ASYLUM SEEKERS.
Claiming "political asylum" as a means for entry requires that the person fit certain clearly codified legal criteria. These people do NOT meet that criteria. Period.
If you want to take the position that we should let them in because they are seeking a better life, that's fine. As damaging a position to America as that is, at least you can make a marginally defensible case. But if you're going to be honest (unlike much of the MSM and those on the left), and you really want to have an honest discourse about the issue, then you have to begin by admitting that these people do NOT meet the legal criteria to claim political asylum.
If you are unwilling to admit that, then it's senseless to talk with you further because you lack either the honesty or the intelligence to understand the difference between migration for a better life versus being a true political refugee.
