Eliminate all pensions for elected officials.

Ban employment with or paid work for known lobbying firms, especially foreign entities.

Term limits - five terms for Congressmen, three for Senators

None of these will ever happen of course, but that is what is needed for real solutions to corruption in government.

I've always struggled with this as we do have a process for term limits and that's voting for HR every 2 years and Senate every 6

I'd rather see the Senate go back to being elected by the HR and go to 4 year terms and have extreme limits placed on fundraising time for HR during their terms

I also want a private jet with Twin Peaks servers as flight attendants

My problem is that incumbents are overwhelmingly re-elected, even when linked to personal misconduct. Frankly, there are hundreds of Congressmen/Senators who should not be in office, and dozens who by rights should be in prison.

The system, especially in how media provides coverage, is obscene and defies the intent of the Founding Fathers on many points.

The crooks won't leave willingly, so they must be expelled by statute.

That's a function of money...by all accounts most of those rats spend the majority of their time using their tax funded staffs and tax funded accounts to raise money

The system is set up for self perpetuation

The campaign money is there to acquire goodies. My utopian solution is to eliminate the goodies that are so sought after: tax breaks and regulations. Close the candy store.

I don't want to end lobbying; I want to end the necessity for it.
