Or ... welcome to the social media age, where high school and college students are too freaking stupid to understand the **** they put on there is a) visible to everyone and b) reflective of their character and values as well as those they represent.

Exhibit B

New president cannot fix all issues. There's several classes of people at OU. I bet it's all DFW kids that are in the video.

Does this mean we get more Neil Diamond at the games now
At Baylor it will be Barry Manilow, Paul Anka and maybe a Tony Bennet.

I'd have to search a long time to find a more sanctimonious post. For the love of god. Have a drink one weekend, tell the wife to put on something nice, get off the couch, and live a little. Who are you to judge them? The irony...your using social media to show your ass...I mean "values ".

You know you're living in odd times when you have folks rushing to defend white sorority girls' use of the N-word on Twitter and referring to the condemnation of social media dumbassery as sanctimony.

Think what you want of me. I could not possibly care less. But your position requires you to condone and defend stupid and often vile behavior. Mine doesn't.

That was high quality offending.

Give it a rest. Do you go through life looking for things to be offended by? What a miserable existence. It's a song. Millions of people have sung along. White, black, brown. You don't know those girls from Adam. The only person showing their values, or lack they're of, is you. Get off your high horse. It's an ugly look.

I'm not offended at all. But if you're a dumb****, I'm going to call you a dumb**** . Sorry that offends you.

And my existence is great, thanks. When you don't do stupid **** on social media, you don't have to worry about getting called a dumbass -- or facing more serious, real world consequences -- for it.

Bro. Look in a mirror. The only dumbass is the one staring back. If your existence was so great, you wouldn't be so worried about judging others. Much less a group of college girls you don't even know. You're being a wallflower just looking to be offended. It's a sad way to go through life.

Like I said, I'm not offended at all. Just calling a spade a spade. If anyone here is triggered or offended, it's you by my opinion that broadcasting your bad decisions on social media is a stupid thing to do.

The level of exception you've taken here to what should be a common sense truth is a really odd hill to die on, but you do you.

The kids get so excited at football games when Mo Bamba comes over the speakers. Curious, I looked it up. At the risk of sounding like a Puritan, that song is filth. I know they'll play a "clean" version, but clean versions only point listeners to the "dirty" version.

No flame, just clarification.

Are you telling us that the "clean version" of Mo Bamba is played over the loud speakers at Baylor University home football games?

Memorable lyrics includes "I be ballin like a GD pro.

This stuff doesn't bother me....but for years we've played House of Pain's "Jump Around" at our stadiums with lyrics like:

I'll serve your ass like John McEnroe
If your girl steps up, I'm smacking the hoe

Trying to step to me, you'll take your last breath
I got the skills, come get your fill
'Cause when I shoot the gift, I shoot to kill

I'm the cream of the crop, I rise to the top
I never eat a pig, 'cause a pig is a cop

I don't think the BOR would approve

This is to help yall. Not everyone is as hip as I am. We accept our president calling other countries shlt holes and talking about grabbing poosey then want to come down on a young man expressing himself.

Talk about hypocrisy. Trump fluffers have no reason to complain.

The word is "fluffer" but sure. I dont like it either but my grandparents complained about the Beatles and Elvis, my parents complained to me about Kiss, and I hated the New Kids on the Block and Boys to Men my daughter listened to. Baylor band used to play "25 or 6 to 4" over and over. Its a druggie song.

So many accept the same type language from Pres. Trump and vote for him only to condemn a bunch of girls singing a stupid song. Go figure.

From a Waco area school.

High school notebook: Crawford's under-the-radar season starting to catch attention

You won't hear "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" or "Rhinestone Cowboy" playing over the P.A. system before a lot of high school basketball games, but you will in Crawford, America. Both of those classic country tunes were among the playlist before a recent Pirates' district game.

I get the former but not the latter.
"And I dream of the things I'll do
With a subway token and a dollar tucked inside my shoe
There'll be a load of compromisin'
On the road to my horizon"

No idea. Analyze the mind of a teen ager (if they made the selection) or the coach or the administration

Song selections make me think adults selected the music

Definitely an adult selection. A teenager, who is country, picks a more contemporary country song.

You can add middle school kids to that list too. 14 to 15 year olds can be just as out there as a 17 and 18 year olds. Since my son got on Instagram, probably a mistake, he is very reserved so he puts nothing out there, but good grief, some of those kids every time they take a dump, they have to put a video of themselves doing it. That mess is an addiction. Some momma's and daddy need to get a hold of their kids, and say, hey keep your clothes on when you post, don't say something so stupid it will bite you, and quit posting in "real time" where you are going and what you are doing, because some predator could track you.

Really it was better when you had to actually, talk to someone, to talk to someone.

If this was a basketball game, Crawford is playing some pretty decent basketball this year.
