Any gloating Trump does is totally classless, but that is his nature. The SOTU is suppose to be about the country, not about individuals or political party talking points.

But, having said the above, it has been that way for decades. When this country started out such a meeting made sense. There was no mass media or quick way to get out information across the country. That is no longer the case. All it is now is a crass political rally for the party in office. Everything to be said is already known.

Who will be the designated survivor this time? Since I won't be listening to the address (never do), it would be nice to know who will be in charge if a disaster occurs.
