The problem is, Biden needs much more than help. He needs a caregiver.Oldbear83 said:
A strange situation, and oddly seems like a Karma echo of 2016.
The only likely effect is that this incident could drive down left-leaning independent voter participation, but it may increase turnout from Democrats worried Biden needs their help.

That is truly amazing.ABC BEAR said:He also misuses the word 'their' instead of 'there' in a sentence. How could the voters of New Hampshire elect a bourgeois so lacking in basic spelling skills? They will get a chance to redeem themselves in November.riflebear said:
This might be one of the dumbest most shocking things I've ever read. Could you imagine if a Republican had said this during the #metoo movement.
you see the double standard by both sides, right?HuMcK said:
Evil? She basically just put in writing the same justification that you yourself use to support Trump. Unless you're in the "all of Trump's accusers are lying" camp.
No, you obviously haven't gone looking for it. I've seen the exact same comments towards Reade on twitter that I saw towards Blasey-Ford. And nasty comments towards "liberal" media or social media types who dared to post a link to the Reade story. And lets not forget the NH state senator who questioned if someone could actually be sexually assaulted using their fingers.HuMcK said:
Not really, the "liberal media" talked to this lady about Biden in 2019, and even after she changed her story MSNBC was still going to give her a sit-down interview until she cancelled it. Just because they didn't make it the number 1 story during a global pandemic doesnt mean they ignored it. And it could just be that I haven't gone looking for it, but I haven't seen anywhere near the level of nastiness towards Reade as what Blasey-Ford endured.
In contrast to Trump, Biden actually gave a good response calling for an investigation (which coincidentally is when Mrs. Reade went dark). He's even consented to releasing a document from Senate records that Mrs. Reade sought (although she has now apparently changed her mind about what they will show).
I wonder how many crying here about double standards have ever heard of E Jean Carroll?

Not sure since I don't gamble, but it works out that Vegas thinks Trump wins re-election.Florda_mike said:Oldbear83 said:

"I really resent the fact that, every time a case comes up, all of us survivors have to weigh in. It is reopening wounds. And it is take us at our word, ask us for our opinion, and let's move on."
No, We, Democrats, did not believe a yearbook posts. But The allegation and the timing of its revelation was a political stunt by the Democrats. We slandered Justice Kavanaugh and gave him no time to prepare a response.Jack Bauer said:
If you are dumb enough to "believe" a woman's accusations based on HS yearbooks as your best evidence, then you only have yourself to blame for painting yourself into a corner.
The Dems put everything in the metoo basket for Kavanaugh and now they are reaping what they sowed.
