And people that have never had it. That's a tiny little detail often left out but know enough hospital workers and you can get the real scoop.
That "20% is natural immunity" is laughable when study after study shows natural immunity is more powerful
You're confused. The reason immunity matters, is people die to the virus. So the best thing is not getting it, and getting the vaccine to minimize your risk, if you do get it in the future. The next best thing is getting it and surviving, and then getting the vaccine, which makes you very unlikely to be hospitalized in the future. The next best thing, is getting it, and relying solely on your natural antibodies to protect you from future mutations. Next best thing, or the worst, is getting it, and dying.
There is no question, natural antibodies are great, but most people who haven't gotten it for certain need to get the vaccine.
I think if you're sure you've got natural antibodies, there's nothing wrong with waiting to see what the next vaccines or treatments are. I don't want to be loading up on 6 shots a year, myself. Of course, if you want to eat at a restaurant in NYC you gotta get vaccinated, and it's incredibly safe.
