Ironic that Joe will sniff, nibble, kiss everyone else's kids but not even acknowledge his own grandkid.

Never understood why anyone cares about this. Presidents take a lot of time off. All of them.

And he's spent 100% of his "presidency" being a figure head who isn't in charge of anything.

At least LBJ knew to step down, unlike Biden.

At least Grant's corrupt "friends" didn't "dispatch" him, like Harding's probably did!

Why does Ford Motor Company have two on your list?

Who did the most long term damage to the country.

Possibly should have moved Woodrow Wilson to the 2nd spot and replaced Ford in the 9th spot with Hoover.

LBJ stepped down because:

1. Realized he was hated even within his own party.
2. Had serious heart problems and was unlikely to survive another 4 year stress filled term .

Buchanan belongs on that list, as does Thomas Jefferson, then.

Oh there was a lot more going on that killed LBJ's re-election dream.

A certain land commissioner's death was getting more and more attention, for example.

Agree with most.

Think Grant gets a bum-rap, he was not as bad as people think during a tough time. Bret Baier's book is very good on him, came out with much more respect for him.

Amazon.com: To Rescue the Republic: Ulysses S. Grant, the Fragile Union, and the Crisis of 1876 eBook : Baier, Bret, Whitney, Catherine: Kindle Store

Ford was dealt a crap hand, he was Speaker of the House and forced to deal with the worst scandal in US history. Sort of hard to hold those 2 years against him, in my opinion.

We disagree on Lincoln, there is no US without Lincoln. But, many on here believe there shouldn't be, based on discussions. South should have been able to leave. I guess Lincoln should have just negotiated a deal and let them go.
