How would you feel if you watched this happen... watched the staff do nothing... and then they expect you to pay for your stuff?
I would either calmly walk out with my bag of stuff, or just walk out with nothing.
I would never pay at a store that just let's people steal. A store like that is expecting me to cover their losses, and I'm not interested in paying for the thefts of others.

BTW the Rolex boutique in Boulder was the victim of a 'smash and grab' robbery last month .
They stole Rolex and Tudor watches. For whatever reason they were unable to break the case with the Cartier watches.
The owner told me that despite video evidence of the robbers and their getaway car....the Boulder police still haven't made any arrests. Anyone familiar with the Boulder PD probably isn't surprised.
