In the tutorials, it shows there should be an unread posts tab next to the total posts tab, but I am not getting that. I can tell threads have unread posts through the darker link font (grayed out when all read), but I can only go to first post or last post.

Am I missing some setup thing?

if you click on the bit ive highlighted in red, that should take you to the last unread post of a thread

I got that from the tutorial. The problem I'm having is that I don't get that tab you've circled.

this seems like a dumb question, but are you sure youve read posts on these threads before?

Absolutely sure. Just now I checked back on the Football board. I see the thread about Temple quality recruits, which I read when first posted, has been updated in the last minute. Yet I see no unread posts tab.

Just to add finality to this thread. The unread posts tab mentioned above (along with the watched thread feature) are available to non-premium members as of today.

I'm not getting these features either. Am I to assume that the jump to feature is on the first post of the topic on same line as topic heading? It's not coming up for me.

At the top I get the binoculars with a number in it. I open it , see the threads with responses and click on one. It takes me to the first post of the topic. I see nothing to click to take me to the new posts.

The feature described in the 1st reply above (see the red circle) works for me now. This appears when there is a reply to a "read" thread. A thread that is "unread" will have a green bar on the left edge and dark font for the subject. Once the thread is read, the bar will be gone and the subject font will be lighter gray. At this point any new posts will result in the unread tab. You can click on this to jump to the first unread post.
