This is probably out of the control of this site, but I have noticed fake ads indicating Jo Anna Gaines quit 'Fixer Upper' to start a cosmetics business. The Gaines have been trying to stop these ads. Nothing can be done to stop them?

Nope. They're just served by the ad server based on keywords and algorithms. The Waco/Baylor connection is probably what triggers the algorithm. Usually the ads that are served are triggered by the searches you do, so if you read stuff about Chip and Jo or Fixer Upper, or obviously Baylor or Waco, that will trigger that type of ad served to you because the algorithms sees you as a good match.

Mine just showed an ad for "Buy texas football tickets" So I reported it for being inappropriate.

It seems that they could sue as another company is using their likenesses and photographs to sell products without their permission. And starting rumors about them....how is this permissible?
