Focus is now 100% on Fort Bend Marshall QB Malik Hornsby. The staff has been in contact with him and he is receptive and interested. The 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect has offers from just about everyone around the country. At this point expectations are that CJ Stroud will commit to Ohio State. Update 1:20 pm Friday:I spoke to a person close with Malik just a moment ago:- Malik is currently on an official visit to Purdue- Malik talks about Baylor pretty often and has realized the upswing from the staff in his recruitment- Wants to stay close to home, but not too close to home (Houston)- Very close to his mom which is part of the reason he wants to stay close to home- Strictly wants to play QB- Texas is not on his list anymore because of that even though they'd like to take him at another positon- Florida State is recently off of his list as well.- Has a good relationship with QB coach Coach Glenn Thomas that has been steady for awhile but rest of the staff is starting to get involved.After this conversation I really like Baylor's chances here.
