Note on Grad Transfer and Two 2021 Updates
- Akron grad transfer offensive lineman Brandon Council is in the process of figuring out where he will go for school next. He has talked to the Baylor staff and is immediately eligible with two seasons to play at whichever school he attends next. He has 23 career starts, most at right tackle but some at left guard as well. His decision should be coming in the next couple months."It's a dead period now for coaches so I make decisions by March or April."He will also have time to go on visits during those two months in order to pick his next school, if Baylor continues to pursue then a visit is likely.2021 tight end prospect Weston Wolff (Venice, FL/Venice) earned a Baylor offer back in June after a stellar Baylor camp performance. He also visited Baylor back in October for a game so the interest had definitely been building but since the coaching staff has turned over he has not heard from the new coaches." I have not been able to contact any of the coaches yet."In the meantime, the 6'4, 200-pound tight end has added offers from Kentucky, Iowa State, East Carolina, and UCF. He finished his junior season with 42 receptions for 611 yards and four touchdowns.2021 four star wide receiver Latrell Neville out of Hightower was a prospect that the current staff got in very late on. He was not offered by Baylor till February of 2019 when he already had 20+ power five offers. It appears that the new staff is in the same boat for the moment even though LSU was an early offer for him and a place that he has visited a few times."I have not heard from the new staff yet."Neville sits at 43 offers now and is considered one of the top receivers in the country but his speed is still something in question. He does not do camps so we will see if that changes this spring and summer.

2021 Recruiting Names to Watch
I posted this in another thread but I have been getting quite a few questions about 2021 guys so thought I would go ahead and post this on the board. There are plenty of guys who have been on campus and been getting lots of attention from Baylor. I'll go through and mention some of the top ones. There are more but this is a good list of guys that Baylor has been in for a while and almost all have visited at some point. Again this is just a preliminary list as camps and film will bring new offers and priorities.QBKaidon Salter Eli Stowers RBDarius Hale Camar Wheaton Jordan Jenkins WRBlaine Green Bryson Green Ketron Jackson James BlackStrain Oronde Gadsden II TEWeston Wolff OLBennett Pitcher Reuben Fatheree Matthew Wykoff Jack Tucker DLJordon Thomas Shemar Turner Dametrious Crownover Chris Murray E'maurion Banks Albert Regis D'Marion Alexander Tunmise Adeleye LBKendrick Blackshire Rejhan Tatum Marsel McDuffie CBAJ Green Mark Wilson Keuan Parker SJardin Gilbert

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
