Week of March 28th: Recruiting Thread
I tried to say it without saying it in the recruiting thread by mentioning that Texas A&M had interest in Austin Novosad following the decommitment of the Aggies longtime pledge Eli Holstein. He did not want it leaked out until it happened naturally which it has now. He took a visit to College Station yesterday.Novosad talked to Shawn Bell and Dave Aranda about it earlier this week and they took it well. This trip was just an opportunity to see Texas A&M which was a major dream school for him growing up since both of his parents went there. Jimbo Fisher did not offer on the trip but their staff is going to continue to keep in contact with him.I am not worried at all about it, Novosad continues to recruit for Baylor and is still locked in with the Bears. He will also be visiting Baylor next weekend with Cordale Russell as he continues to help the staff build a solid 2023 class. He also earned a ticket today which means he will be competing in the Elite 11 Finals. He also won the accuracy competition. This is big news! I will have more on this tomorrow and will have him in the studio next Saturday to go more in-depth on that.Dripping Springs (TX) 2023 QB and Baylor commit Austin Novosad took home pro day MVP honors and is headed to the Elite 11 finals @Austin2novosad | @TA_Recruiting | @GrayGrundhoefer | @Elite11 pic.twitter.com/njvRuSgoRi— Jason Howell (@Jason_Howell) March 27, 2022
