Running Recruiting Tidbits
November 25Wednesday 8:18 a.m. Jennings (LA) 2021 defensive tackle Keenan Landry is a name to keep an eye on as the staff has been talking to him quite a bit over the past few days. Dennis Johnson is leading the way in recruiting him as an offer could be coming soon. (GG)November 24Tuesday 2:05 p.m. In line with what Colt posted, Marvin Covington told me that all schools are on an even playing field right now. He also let me know that he will be waiting to sign in February. (GG)Tuesday, 11:45 a.m. Marvin Covington told me that he has interest in Baylor despite the offer coming late. He was on campus last fall for Baylor's overtime win over Texas Tech and has been interested since that time. (CB)November 23- Pflugerville Hendrickson (TX) wide receiver Jaden Williams got sent a birthday graphic from the staff today and has been talking to the staff daily now. He has a few offers but none of those are standing out to him. TCU and Texas just started talking to him as well. Baylor should be in the running here if they decide to offer. He told me, "I just want to go somewhere that I can make an immediate impact." (GG)- Klein Forest (TX) running back Ahmonte Watkins has been hearing from the staff in recent weeks but decided to post his top four of Texas Tech, TCU, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State yesterday. He thought a Baylor offer may be coming soon but nothing has come yet. I do think if Baylor offered he would consider it but right now he has his top four with Signing Day coming up soon. (GG)- Hutchinson C.C. defensive lineman Isaiah Iton continues to hear from the Baylor staff regularly but he is also starting to grab the attention of many other schools in the country. Virginia Tech, Florida State, Texas Tech, and Minnesota have offered within the last month. He has added a total of 18 offers since entering the transfer portal at the end of September. This is going to be a tight race to the finish for him but Baylor seems to have put themselves in a solid position with him at this time. (GG)- Baylor has offered cornerback Marvin Covington and athlete Ahmonte Watkins for the 2021 class. (GG)

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
